Description
The same shared-handle skewer rack as the F1, fitted inside an enclosed
box body. The walls are the point: they keep the heat around the food instead of letting a
breeze pull it away.
Why the enclosed body matters
An open charcoal frame is at the mercy of the weather. A gust lifts heat off one end of
the row and that end cooks slower for the rest of the session. The F2 box has solid sides,
so the temperature the coals produce is roughly the temperature the food sees, and it stays
that way while you cook.
That makes this the model to choose for a balcony, a rooftop, a coastal backyard, or
anywhere the wind is a factor rather than an occasional nuisance.
The skewer rack
Identical mechanism to the F1 skewer model. The skewers gear together and one handle
turns the row as a single piece, so a full load of thirty two presents evenly to the fire
instead of being turned stick by stick while the early ones overcook.
Charcoal handling
The tray pulls out from the side rather than lifting through the top, so you can top up
mid cook without moving food or reaching over the fire. A bottom isolation plate sits under
the tray, which spreads heat across the base and keeps the hot metal off whatever the grill
is standing on.

These charcoal frames have no electric drive. You turn the handle when the food needs
turning, which is what gives you control over how much colour each side takes.
